Chai tea has a history and each person and region has their own version. This is my inspired Chai Tea recipe that I share with you.
For 2 Cups
3 Tbsp Loose Leaf Assam tea
2 cup water
1 tsp dry ginger or 1nob fresh ginger
1 stick cinnamon
5 Black Pepper
1 Cardamom pod-option
2 tbsp sugar or honey
1/2 cup whole milk Or dairy free alternative like Almond Milk
(1)combine water with spice and ginger bring up to boil and simmer 15 mins.
(2) Add loose Leaf tea and steep 7 mins.
(3) Strain and reheat to boil and sweeten with honey or sugar
